Grasp the fundamentals of developing an E-commerce webstore as you learn how to create a webstore that matches your goals and business objectives. This Shopify course will allow students to create their very own Shopify store during the course itself and learn about Shopify management like a professional which can be used in live application.
On an additional note, participants of our ‘Develop An E-Commerce Webstore’ course are entitled to a development store that lasts for a period of 30 days. *Only applicable upon completion of the course.
By the end of the course, the learner is able to:
Determine the type of e-commerce store, to set-up in order to capture the best potential type of customers
Provide guidelines and requirements for website design for an exceptional user experience, in alignment to organisation branding strategy
Identify the legal implications of using digital media assets from sourcing, curating, and creating content from third-party
Create a website design flowchart to plan the overall user interface and experience of a dynamic website
Communicate design plan and requirements to stakeholders
Allocate digital space for branding, multimedia content assets and any promotional activities for both front-end and back-end
Evaluate website using the 3 main assessment methods of accessibility, usability, and inclusion
Establish implementation plan of both technical processes and functionalities of a website in alignment with the organisation marketing, brand, and ecommerce campaigns
Establish metrics evaluation using platform and third-party programs such as heatmap and website analytics
Establish automated processes to maintain the publishing content on the website

Able to speak, listen, write, and read English at a minimum proficiency level of the Employability Skills Workforce Skills Qualification Workplace Literacy Level (WPL) 5

Frequently Asked Questions
All courses are available for both online classrooms and in-person traditional classrooms.
The online course is conducted over Zoom and the in-person course is delivered through a traditional classroom setting. Both learning modes essentially offer the same experience in terms of the course contents, size, duration and learning outcomes.
Class size differs per run, but would be a maximum of 20 learners per instructor.
In-person classroom trainings are conducted at our off-site office 51 Cuppage Road, the nearest MRT will be Somerset MRT.

Yes, there will be an assessment at the end of each learning units and it will be an open book concept. The assessment are not difficult if you are sufficiently prepared for it and the trainer will conduct oral recovery if there is a gap in the written assessment.
There are mini assignments throughout the course, allowing for practice on the concepts and theories taught in the class. Learners would also have to participate in group work and group projects which would be done during class time.
For certifiable (WSQ) and non-certifiable (non-WSQ) courses approved by SkillsFuture Singapore (SSG), self-sponsored individuals and companies (SMEs and Non-SMEs) can apply under the following grant schemes to subsidise the course fees.

From 1 Jan 2022, SkillsFuture course funding will be revised to a baseline of 50% subsidy, with an additional 20% subsidy (up to 70% subsidy) for SMEs and Mid-career individuals (Singapore citizens above 40 years old)
